Illustration Friday - Brave

Hey guys, second illustration of the Illustration Fridays I missed, this time it's brave. Ever since I was a little kid I had a deep affinity to The Punisher. Easily my favourite super hero because of his values and bravery to face the world and its problems with no fear. So I drew a The Punisher. Now I did a couple of line drawings, with little to no reference, I am not the most skilled at drawing, especially human figures, I had mixed feelings with the way this one turned out.

All of it was done in Photoshop, hope you enjoyed it!

Illustration Friday - Perspective

Hey guys, Tom here again with another illustration. As I promised there will be a lot in the future, and I'm about to post two Illustration Fridays I missed. This one was inspired by the free lance graphic design I have been doing lately, working for a smoking company. Sadly, I have been smoking for about a year, but have put a plan in motion to quit, and feel very motivated to do so. But yes, this picture is an easy one. A majority of those in smoking company's only see you as a number, easy concept, happy with the design. Here it is.

This illustration was done between illustrator and photoshop, hope you enjoyed it!

Cancer Research Postcard

Hey guys, illustration incoming. Haven't posted in a bit, I've been busy listening to Leif and trying to find a consistent style, instead of outputting random... bullshit, for lack of a better term. There will be a lot of illustrations to come in the short future, just finishing everything up.
But I digress, this post is about the Cancer Research Postcard illustration I have created. Leif Peng assigned us a project in our illustration class to make a postcard to create for a friend who is riding for cancer with Lance Armstrong. My interpretation is as follows.

HopeFinal

Obviously I took a large inspiration from Lance Armstrong's wristband issued by Nike, raising money for prostate cancer.

Hope you enjoyed it!

The London Taphouse Graphic Design

Hey guys, just a quick update. Figured I'd show you guys some work I've done in the past year or so. For a year and a half I worked for The London Taphouse in Hamilton, working as a bartender and host and eventually was given the opportunity to do some graphic design work for them. This is one of the designs I came up with, a layout for a promo card they use for their shuttle bus, explaining where the pickup locations are. One of my favourite pieces of work I did for them. I liked the simplicity of the piece, and they are still in use to this day. Here's a look.
